Adequan Equine I.M. is intramuscularly administered to treat degenerative and/or non-traumatic joint dysfunction. It also treats carpal and hock joint lameness using Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG).

How is Medication Given? Administer an intramuscular dose of 500 mg every 4 days for a 28-day period. Clean injection site thoroughly before administering. Never administer concomitantly with any other solvent or drug.
What Results Can I Expect? Adequan is an injectable drug that helps control non-infectious degenerative or traumatic arthritis conditions. It is also beneficial for post-surgical treatment of horses.

Dose and Administration: Each box contains 7 vials with 5 mL (500 mg of Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan) each.
Possible Side Effects: Although adverse reactions are rare with the intramuscular administration of Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan, safety has not been proven for administration to a breeding horse.
