Gabapentin is an anti-seizure medication. It is also administered concomitantly with other pain relievers (which will later be withdrawn) to control pain.

Dose and Administration: Tablets are sold individually in strengths of 100, 300, and 600 mg.
Possible Side Effects: The most common side effects of Gabapentin is sedation. Pets should be monitored for symptoms, such as incoordination or drowsiness.
Precautions: Gabapentin is known to be almost fully eliminated through the kidneys and urinary tract, so it should be given cautiously to pets who have kidney disease.
Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry environment.
