    DESCRIPTION:

    Equioxx Oral Paste is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing Firocoxib. This paste controls the pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in horses.

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Paste

    Dose and Administration: Each syringe contains 6.93 grams.

    Possible Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions are gastrointestinal upset and inappetence, but diarrhea or jaundice may also occur.

    Precautions:

  • Your veterinarian should complete a full physical exam and medical history prior to NSAID treatment. Routine re-examinations might also be prudent.
  • Familiarize yourself with the symptoms of drug toxicity and monitor for those symptoms.
  • In case of accidental human ingestion, pursue medical treatment.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Not for human use.
  • Do not administer to a horse intended for food use.
  • Only administer orally to horses.
  • Never administer to a horse with hypersensitivity to Firocoxib or any NSAID.

    Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry location.
