When you're ready to check out, go to your shopping cart and click 'continue to checkout.' If you already have a PetSmart account, sign in to enjoy faster checkout. If you don’t have an account, you can create one or checkout as a guest. Please note: If you are setting up an auto ship order, you will need to create an account with us.
If you have a promotional code, click the 'promo code' link in the order summary section. Promotional codes need to be entered one at a time. Using multiple promotional codes might void promotions that have already been applied. Any promotional discounts will be reflected in the Order Summary section. All codes must be redeemed online at the time of the initial order.
- About You: We need some basic information about you to get started. Tell us your name, email address and phone number. Email is required for order status and updates. A phone number is required in case we have questions about your order.
- Shipping Address: If your cart includes items for delivery, you will need to provide the shipping address.
- Delivery Options: Choose the shipping method of your choice – Standard Shipping, 2 Day, or Overnight.
- In-Store Pickup. If your cart includes items to pickup in store, you have the option to designate someone other than yourself to pick it up. The information we request is required for providing order status updates only, not for marketing purposes.
- Payment Details: We accept most major credit cards and debit cards, PayPal and PetSmart gift cards. If your billing address is different than the shipping address, you can update that in this step.
- Pharmacy Pet and Vet Details: If your cart includes items that require a prescription, we’ll need additional information about your pet and veterinary clinic to assist with prescription validation; it is required to process the pharmacy portion of your order.
- Review Order: Carefully review your order for accuracy on this page before submitting it. If any information is incorrect, edit it here before submitting. Once you've verified that all of your order information is accurate or you've made changes, complete your purchase by clicking 'complete purchase.' Please note: We cannot change or cancel orders once they've been placed. See Order Cancellations for more information.
After you complete checkout, your order number will be displayed on the order confirmation page. You will also receive an email confirmation. Be sure to save a copy of this email in case you have questions about your order.
