How is Medication Given? Read product information pamphlet prior to use. Recommended daily oral dose is 2 mg per pound of body weight administered daily. Your veterinarian may recommend one daily dose, or a divided dose of 1 mg per pound administered twice each day. To control pain after an operation, administer about 2 hours prior to procedure. Each caplet is scored. Calculate dosage in increments of half-caplets.
