Description: Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti–inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat acute or chronic pain and inflammation in animals.This product is an oral tablet formulation. Used to treat pain, inflammation, and osteoarthritis in dogs. Dosing these tablets may be difficult in smaller animals (e.g., cats) due to limited availability of generic strengths. Please discuss your pet's treatment options with your veterinarian. Do not administer to animals with active GI ulcers or bleeding, or those taking other anti–inflammatory medications (e.g., other NSAIDs, corticosteroids). May be prescribed for other animal species; please consult your veterinarian.
