Dog Treat Wreath
With this tasty recipe from Milk-bone, you can include your dog in the holiday festivities.
intended as a treat, not as food
Get in the holiday spirit by decking your doors with a treat-filled wreath! It’s a perfect way to greet your four-legged guests before a party or to give as an unexpected treat after a walk.
What you’ll need for the dog-friendly wreath:
- Milk-Bone®
- Pup-Peroni® treats
- Festive colored ribbon (2 colors or patterns)
- Circular piece of cardboard in the size of a wreath
- Scissors
- Twine
Step 1: Cut out a hole in the center of the cardboard and discard.
Step 2: Place the wreath-shaped cardboard base on a flat surface.
Step 3: Cut a long piece of twine and tie it around the base. This will be used to hang over the door to greet your canine guests.
Step 4: Align your treats along the base by grouping 1 Milk-Bone® and 1 Pup-Peroni® treat together.
Step 5: Take the first festive ribbon and tightly wrap each grouping, securing it to the wreath base. Complete the circle back to the beginning. (Remove decorations before giving treats to your pet.)
Step 6: Tie the two ends together to make sure your treats are secure.
Step 7: Add a little more joy to your treat-filled wreath by taking the second ribbon and tying a big bow at the top.
