Rated 2 out of 5 by from WASTE OF MONEY Don't even bother with this "reptile starter kit". I bought this in a rush because I had a tad pole who grew into a land frog and I needed something quick. My frog was only about half an inch and I needed something this little which is about 3 gallons. This tank isn't suited for anything else. The 5W bulb is comes with is inefficient. It doesn't provide proper light at all and is actually yellow when you turn it on. And the light fixture attached is so heavy that when you lift the lid it falls off. Eventually it just broke off. The water bowl it comes with is so small that you practically have to fill it every hour because it evaporates so quickly. I just changed it for a larger one so my frog could properly soak. The tank also comes with a base that doesn't even attack to the actual tank. So whenever I moved the tank for cleaning it would just fall off. The tank is also plastic which scratches fairly easy during daily maintenance. After a couple of months you could barely see through the tank anymore. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS JUNK!

would this be recommended for a leopard gecko?

Asked by: lexxvolleyball29
No, It is much too small for a leopard gecko. It also lacks heating, space, UVA/UVB, and a proper water dish.
