DESCRIPTION

Pantoprazole Sodium Delayed Release Tablet treats and prevents disease associated with gastric acid, along with stomach ulcers in cats and dogs.

Key Benefits: Pantoprazole inhibits secretions of stomach acid. It is protective of the stomach wall lining and blood flow.

Formulated For: For use in dogs and cats.

What Form Does Medication Come In? Tablet

Dose and Administration: Tablets are sold individually in 20 or 40 mg strengths.

Possible Side Effects:

  • Diarrhea is the most frequently reported adverse reaction of Pantoprazole.
  • This medication can also interact with other drugs. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is taking any other medication, including Warfarin, Sucralfate, thyroid supplements, iron supplements, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, or any anti-fungal.

    Precautions: Do not administer Pantoprazole to an animal with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication. Keep out of reach of animals and children.

    Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry location at room temperature.

    In Case of Overdose: Call your nearest emergency pet hospital.
