DESCRIPTION CitraVet is a chewable, liver-flavored tablet that contains Potassium Citrate. It is used in cats and dogs who are susceptible to low urinary pH or recurrent urinary (calcium oxalate) stone formation. This product promotes urinary health, and it may be administered to help manage disorders relating to the urinary tract.
Key Benefits:
CitraVet uses Potassium Citrate to make the urine more alkaline, with aids in the management and maintenance of healthy urinary pH. It increases the citrate levels of the animal's bladder, which causes bladder calcium to bind to citrate, not oxalate. This action is effective in preventing calcium oxalate (urinary) stone formation.
Formulated For: Intended for cats and dogs.
