Product availability is clearly noted on the Product Detail page as 'In Stock' or 'Backorder.' Most products are in stock and ready to ship. Some products are either not yet available or temporarily out of stock (Backorder).
Please note: Expected shipment times specify when a product is expected to leave our fulfillment center, not when the product will arrive at its final shipping destination. After your order leaves our fulfillment center, delivery times vary according to the shipping method selected during Checkout and the location of your shipping address.
You will not be billed for products purchased with a credit card until the products have shipped. Some debit and bank check cards may reflect deduction of funds immediately upon order. This is an authorization only. Funds will be collected by petsmart.com upon shipment of products.
Most orders for In-Stock products are shipped once they are located in stock, your payment is approved and the receiving address is verified.
For example, if you order an In-Stock product on Monday that leaves the fulfillment center in 1-2 business days, it will leave the fulfillment center by end-of-day Wednesday. After your order leaves our fulfillment center, delivery times vary according to the shipping method selected during Checkout and the location of your shipping address. Please note: Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
Backorder products are temporarily out of stock but still available for purchase on our website and shipped directly to you once they are back in stock. You will be notified of the status of your product via e-mail. Expected shipment time is indicated on the Product Detail page (i.e. 'Backorder: Buy now for shipping in 4-6 weeks').
