Mite and Lice Bird Spray 8 oz. Pump spray.

For control of bird lice on parakeets, canaries, and other caged birds. Also can help control mites in bird cages. Please follow bottle directions exactly so that the product will be used properly.

Active Ingredients: Pyrethrins 0.03%, Piperonyl Butoxide, Technical* 0.30%

Inert Ingredients: 99.67% *Equivalent to 0.240% (butylcarbityl) (6-propylpiperonyl) ether and 0.06 related compounds

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid inhalation of vapors. Avoid contact with skin. Wash contaminated skin with soap and water. Avoid spraying food. Cover fish aquariums before spraying.

Directions for Use:

General Classification: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product inconsistent with its labeling.

For control of bird lice on parakeets, canaries, and other caged birds, leave birds in cage. Remove food and foodstuffs. Spray directly on birds from a distance of 12 to 18 inches. Avoid the bird's eyes and face, spray lightly using three or four bursts.

For cage mite control, remove bird(s), food and water cups, etc. and spray cage thoroughly by holding unit at least one foot from surface utilizing five or six bursts. To control mites and bird lice, may repeat treatment on cage or bird no more than two times a week. Bird cages should be cleaned in hot water as part of a weekly regimen.

Storage: Store in a cool dry area away from heat or open flame.

Disposal: Do not reuse empty container. Wrap container and put in trash collection. Buyer assumes all risks of use, storage, and handling of this material not in strict accordance with directions given herewith.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective I bought this for my bird twitchy our old house finch, i rescued her from outside where she had busted her wing and the vet had to clip it and said she would never fly again. since she was wild she was covered in mites. so i put her in a smaller temp cage with no food or water and sprayed her down. she hated the spray and it left her a little cold so i put her next to a heat vent till she was dry enough. but i never noticed any mites on her after that. Twitchy lived a long and happy life in her cage. Spoiled rotten xD

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I went on vacation and the person watching my bird did not clean the cage. When I returned, I noticed bugs in her cage and her picking at herself a bunch. She didn't like being sprayed with it, but she liked not being bitten by bugs any more. Make sure to clean the cage before use and not to have bird food or water in the cage when you use this.
