    DESCRIPTION:

    L-S 50 Water Soluble Powder uses Lincomycin and Spectinomycin, two potent antibiotics, to treat CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease) caused by Mycoplasma synoviae or Mycoplasma gallisepticum, or to treat CCRD (Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease) caused by Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma gallisepticum.

    How is Medication Given?

  • Deliver a dose of 2 grams of antibiotic for every gallon of water. This mixed drinking water should be the only water source for the initial 5-7 days of life.
  • Combine 1 bottle of L-S 50 with 25 gallons of water.
  • To obtain a solution containing 1 ounce for every gallon of water, the contents of 5 bottles should be dissolved in every gallon of your proportioner solution.
  • 1-week old broilers and layers (light or heavy) should consume 5 gallons of water daily for a dosage rate of 50 to 65 mg per pound.
  • Unused medicated water should be discarded and replaced daily.
