DESCRIPTION: Bravecto contains Fluralaner, an isoxazoline-substituted bendamide derivative for systemic use. It inhibits the nervous system of arthropods. It works by antagonizing GABA and glutamate receptors in the ligand-gated chloride channels.

How is Medication Given? Recommended Dosing Schedule:
Dogs 4.4 to 9.9 Pounds: 112.5 mg Fluralaner (1 Tube) Dogs 9.9 to 22 Pounds: 250 mg Fluralaner (1 Tube) Dogs 22 to 44 Pounds: 500 mg Fluralaner (1 Tube) Dogs 44 to 88 Pounds: 1000 mg Fluralaner (1 Tube) Dogs 88 to 123 Pounds: 1400 Fluralaner (1 Tube) Dogs Over 123 Pounds: Administer the proper combination of doses 1) Just prior to use, open pouch and remove a dosing tube. 2) Hold tube by its crimped end. The cap should be upright (with the tip up). 3) Rotate the cap in either direction a full turn. The cap will remain on the tube and shouldn't be removed. When you hear or feel a click, the tube is ready to use. 4) Position dog in a lying or standing position. In either case, the back should be horizontally positioned. 5) Part your dog's fur at the intended site of application. 6) Place the tip of the tube in a vertical position against the dog's skin between his or her shoulder blades. 7) Squeeze tube to apply Bravecto gently in 1 or many spots, beginning between shoulder blades and moving down the back. Do not apply an excessive amount in a single spot. This can cause dripping or running. 8) Wait 3 days to allow water immersion or bathe the dog. Administer topically in 1 dose at 12-week increments, delivering a dose of 11.4 mg per pound of body weight. Administer at 8-week intervals if the dog is regularly exposed to Amblyomma americanum ticks.

Possible Side Effects: Administer cautiously to animals with a history of seizures. Even dogs who have never had a seizure could experience them while taking this medication. In clinical trials, the most frequently reported side effects included:

Precautions: This product is incredibly flammable. It should be kept away from sources of ignition, open flame, heat, and sparks. Do not allow contact with the skin or eyes. In case of eye contact, gently and slowly flush with cool water. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Do not drink, eat, or smoke while handling this product. Keep away from children and animals, and do not allow children to touch the application site until it is completely dry. Not for human use. Only for topical application. Do not ingest.
Storage Recommendations: Keep in a cool and dry location. Do not exceed 30 degrees C (86 degrees F). Only open product when ready to use.
