DESCRIPTION: Clavacillin contains Clavulanate Potassium and Amoxicillin Trihydrate. This oral medication delivers the benefits of a broad-spectrum antibiotic and a Ã-lactamase inhibitor, allowing it to effectively treat susceptible bacterial infections. It can treat periodontal disease, soft tissue infections, and skin infections in cats and dogs.
Key Benefits:
Amoxicillin and Clavulanate are the two active ingredients in this product. They work together to deliver broad-spectrum antibiotic action. Clavulanate works to weaken certain bacteria that can be resistant to Amoxicillin, which causes bacterial susceptibility. Amoxicillin prevents bacteria from creating cell walls.
Formulated For: Intended for cats and dogs.
