DESCRIPTION:

ClinTabs contain Clindamycin, which is useful in treating susceptible bacterial infections, including soft tissue, dental, and bone infections.

Key Benefits: These oral tablets suppress bacterial growth and reproduction, which treats infections.

Formulated For: Intended for cats and dogs.

How is Medication Given?

  • Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product, and never use without veterinarian consent.
  • Clintabs 25mg should be administered as a single tablet given at 12-hour intervals for every 10 lbs of animal's body weight.
  • Clintabs 75 mg should be administered as a single tablet given at 12-hour intervals for every 30 lbs of animal's body weight.
  • Clintabs 150mg should be administered as a single tablet given at 12-hour intervals for every 60 lbs of animal's body weight.

    What Results Can I Expect? Clindamycin:

  • Treats osteomyelitis and other bone infections
  • Treats tissue and dental infections
  • Combats infections that may foster bacterial growth
  • Promotes the healing of infected wounds and abscesses

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Tablet

    Dose and Administration: Tablets are sold individually in 25, 75, or 150 mg strengths.

    Possible Side Effects: Vomiting and diarrhea are the most frequently reported adverse reactions of Clintabs.

    Precautions:

  • Antibiotics, including this one, may cause diarrhea. If you observe watery or bloody diarrhea, consult your veterinarian.
  • This medication is safe and effective when administered concomitantly with other medications, as prescribed by your veterinarian.
  • Tell your veterinarian about all supplements, vitamins, minerals, and medications your pet is receiving before beginning treatment.
  • Never use in pets who are known to be allergic to Clintabs or Lincomycin.

    Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry location.

    In Case of Overdose: Contact the nearest emergency pet clinic.
