Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fern I bought this plant for my aquarium. It then died after a few weeks. I went and did my own research on this plant. They sell this plant for aquarium use but, this plant does not do well submersed in water. It is more of a tropical plant. I do not suggest this plant for an aquarium.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I purchased this plant over a month ago and I don't do much to it and it's stayed alive. It's pretty tiny, but a nice addition to the tank

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mine is Fine. I was wary of choosing this plant for my 10 gallon aquarium because of all the bad reviews. But I bought it anyway just because I like the look of it surprisingly after about two weeks nothing bad happened. It grew roots and now is securely planted. My dwarf gourami and peppered cories love it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware: Peacock fern is NOT true aquatic plant The product is mislabeled. Peacock fern is not a true aquatic plant. If you submerge it in water for a period of time, it will eventually die and mess up your tank. But I think it would be fine if you use it for terrarium tank where it will be keep moisted and away from direct sunlight. I bought one and I ended up using it as house plant :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not an aquatic plant It says on the package it can't be submerged, but in reality it can't be in aquariums. maybe in reptile tanks, but not in fish tanks, they just decay and die and mess up your water quality. Nice plant don't get me wrong, but it's not an aquarium plant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from pretty but fragile Beautiful plant but if purchasing in store, be sure to check the bottom of the container for brown roots. Also check the stems. Of the plants sold in store-we find this one to be the one that most often is "off" or goes "off" quickly in the tank. Roots that fail to take, branches that break off and float, stems that get "fuzzy". May not be a quality issue, just more challenging to keep in good condition on the shelf and/or to establish in a tank to thrive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for aquariums Why do they sell these? It is marked semi-aquatic but even though, it still won't grow even in a terrarium. The roots will rot if it sits in water. This is a house plant and you all know how that goes.
