Aponogeton Aquarium Plant is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Out of the 3 bulbs one of them is doing very well. It was approx 6 inches tall and the next day it was at the top of my 40 gallon. It has a leaf sitting on the top like a lily pad with several others just below the surface and has 2 flower stalks, one bloomed and the other getting ready to. The other two bulbs aren't growing nearly as well. One isn't growing at all that I see and the other one straightened all the curly stems that are connected to the bulb. These are my first bulb plants and I would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grows fast! after only a few days in my 75 gallon 3 new leaves had grown to the top of my tank. Now 3 weeks later all 3 plants are doing great! I am beyond satisfied with this plant that turned from one of the smallest in my tank to the largest in no time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for Everyone While it doesn't specify, the full name of this plant is aponogeton ulvaceaus(which should be specified since there are other varieties. This plant is very fast growing and easy to care for. The reason I say it is 'not for everyone' is that this plant grows IN TOTAL 3-4 FEET LONG. Although if you do want that large of a plant, this is wonderful for it! Since it's a root plant, I really recommend getting some root tabs for it. I used the flourish root tabs for mine and you can see how much they grew in a week! I wound up giving one to my mom since my 10gal betta tank doesn't need 3 of these in it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hardy Plants! i bought a cup of these (three to a cup) and planted them in my substrate. they showed new growth almost immediately. after a few weeks a stem shot up from the center of the plant and went to the surface where new baby plants started. i add c02 boost and leafzone and give the plants 8-9 hours of light per day.

I was wondering what the exact type of aponogeton is sold in the grab n go containers. I'm having a hard time identifying it.

Asked by: Josh86
This is Aponogeton Ulvaceus. It grows up to 3/4 ft tall. Not recommended for tanks smaller than 55gallons, preferably placed in larger tanks such as 90+gallons
