  • Chemical-free flea powder

Intended For: Pets & Your Home
Includes: (1) 8oz of Remedy Powder
    Health Consideration: Flea & Tick
    Use: Dog, Cat, Indoor, Outdoor

Cautions: WARNING: PLEASE KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. When using this product, avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with clothing. Wash hands immediately with soap and water after applying. If swallowed, contact a healthcare professional immediately.

    Directions:
Apply to a Dog or Cat:
Sprinkle a small amount along your pet's spine and rub it into their fur against the direction of hair growth, trying to get as close to the skin as possible (using a flea comb helps). Apply well to legs and belly. Reapply after bathing. In case of severe infestations apply frequently in the beginning – even daily.

    Apply in Your Home:
To apply to carpet, sprinkle a light coating over an area and work it in with a broom or carpet rake until it does not show, trying to get it as deep into the carpet pile as possible. After 3 days do a light vacuuming, after 3 weeks resume normal vacuuming. To apply to hardwood floors, furniture and pet bedding, sprinkle a light coating and work into cracks and crevices. Remove visible excess powder after application.

Apply in Your Yard or Garden:
Sprinkle in outdoor areas where your pet spends time. Use approximately one bottle per 250 square feet of yard. In areas close to the house try to get it into cracks and crevices. To apply with a sprayer, mix approximately two tablespoons of powder per gallon of water. Reapply every 2-3 weeks in target areas if flea infestation is severe, or if you live in an area with a long flea season.

Ingredients: Geraniol, Peppermint Oil, Calcium Carbonate

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm converted! So, this stuff is basically diatomaceous earth in a fancier bottle and with some rosemary and lemon scent, priced WAY above what some plain DE would cost you at the hardware store. (You can get a 5lb bag for the cost of one canister of this). However, I purchased it knowing that, but because I needed to buy something else to get free shipping and I needed DE anyway. The point is, it WORKS. And, the canister this stuff comes in, coupled with the pleasant smell, does make it much easier to use than say the 5lb bag of DE at the hardware store would be. I purchased this along with Herbal Defense Spray and Herbal Defense Shampoo & Conditioner from All Natural Pet, and I've been very happy with the results. About three months or so ago, I was dealing with a mild flea problem that just would not away. It wasn't a severe problem, yet, but I obviously needed to nip it in the bud before it became one. It was to the point where I would find a flea or two on the dog every time I checked. I tried the nasty chemical spot-ons, and not only did they NOT work at ALL, they made our poor Jack Russell Terrier so sick I actually had to rush her to the emergency vet one night because she wouldn't stop throwing up! I didn't realize immediately that the spot-on flea treatments were to blame, and the vet couldn't figure out what was going on, either. But when I put the monthly treatment on her for the second month and she got sick again, it was obvious what was going on. The culprit that time was BioSpot, but I submit to you that all of those chemical spot-ons -- Frontline, Advantage, etc. etc. -- are all the same. Please, PLEASE, don't put those on your dog. There is a happy ending here. Because the chemical stuff a) wasn't working b) was really expensive and c) made my dog really sick (!!), I decided to give All Natural Pet's products a try, and I've truly been converted. We've been happily flea-free since I started on the All Natural Pet regimen, for a fraction of the cost. I know this because I zealously go over the dog with a fine-toothed comb -- literally, it's one of those flea combs -- every morning, and haven't found a single one of the little buggers since about a week after starting the natural flea regimen. When I first got this, I put the powder on her, her bed and the carpet in the living room in our bedroom, where she spends the most time, and vacuumed every inch of the house. I washed her with the shampoo and conditoner and sprayed the spray on her several times a week. Since the fleas have disappeared, I use the powder now about every two weeks, the day before I plan on giving her a bath. I spray her maybe once a week. I vacuum at least once a week, but that's also to keep dog hair under control. It's a pretty relaxed regimen but it's definitely working. The best part is that I have a healthy, happy dog and I'm not bringing chemical poisons (that weren't effective anyway) into our household. The shampoo and conditioner also leaves her coat so soft and shiny that I can't stop petting her, and the herbal spray has a great smell. I'm a happy, happy customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great at eliminating fleas My two indoor cats had fleas in November and December of 2012. I would comb them, at least 3 times a day, with a flea comb. After combing, I would apply this product to them. Our flea infestion was not that severe. The next day when I would comb one of them, I would find dead fleas on them. This product works! It is so safe that putting it directly on your pet will do no harm. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe and effective It doesn't kill them all immediately. I had to spread it throughout the house and on the pets a few times before they were completely gone, but it does work, and it kills the fleas without harming you or your pets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked great on my cat, dog and rugs. I used this for my home, area rugs, pet bedding and on my dog and cat. I had tried many other products and this one worked the best to get rid of our flea problem. It's a little dusty but has no bad oder and didn't bother my pets. I was so happy to finally find a safe, easy to use product for my pets and home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will purchase again The day I got this in the mail I applied it on my 45 # mixed long haired dog . The instructions said within 2 days there would be relief! WOW ! The very next day my dog stopped scratching . The residue from the powder was worth the not scratching ! I left this on for 3 days and then I gave my dog a bath! I looked through his fur and scalp and NO fleas! I just recently used the powder on my cat and it worked just as well ! This does what it says and I will continue to purchase this from you! THANK you

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! Due to the mild winter, the fleas have come out early and begun to invade our living space. Last year was a nightmare with fleas galore and my cats getting tapeworms from them, so this year it's all-out war between me and them. I sprinkled this powder on my carpets and upholstery yesterday, and it's already keeping those nasty fleas at bay. My cats are no longer scratching and licking incessantly. So far, so good! My kitties look relieved and I've observed them sleeping peacefully without waking up every 2 minutes to scratch at lick at a flea bite. Woohoo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product shame about the application The product itself is very effective but the way you have to apply it is not so good, when I tried to shake the powder onto my kittens, cat and dog, it did not come out at every squeeze of the tube, so had to shake and knock it against something or the floor, which in turn scared my pets, it is difficult to do if it is only you applying it, plus at times too much squirts out in one place so you have to really massage and move it around, I ended up wasting a lot, so unfortunately, I don't think I will buy again unless of course the application process is improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT WORKS My dogs and cat had never had fleas in the 20 plus years I have lived here until a friend came over who has about 7 cats. Two weeks later I notied my pets had fleas. I will not use chemicals on them. I did some research for natural treatments. I tried the DE FOOD GRADE earth....it was okay but just kept them in check. Did not get rid of them no matter how often I used it. Then I found this. So relieved because it works. Not over night, it does take time. I started by giving them baths in dawn and cider vinegar. Then after they where dry I put this on and rubbed and combed it in good. I used it twice a week and within a month I have no more fleas. I also vacuumed every day and used flea traps. It also helps to put a layer of powder in their bed or kennel. It is dusty that's for sure but I would rather have dust in my house than fleas.

The instructions say to resume vacuuming normal after 3 weeks. 3 weeks seems like a long time to go without vacuuming when u have a flea problem. Shall i continue to vacuum every other day??

    Asked by: Torisundra

Will this post a problem to the animals if they lick themselves after the application?
