Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitty LOVES it! For a long time, I could only get my cat to eat dry food OR super unhealthy wet foods (like Friskies). I have tried almost every high quality cat food under the sun in an attempt to get her on something more healthy. The first time I put this in front of her, she wouldn't touch it, but today I tried again and she scarfed it down! Yay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kittens loves it My vet publishes a list of recommended foods for cats and kittens. I comparison shopped them, and this was on the cheaper end of the recommended foods. I bought a case online to give it a try. Our 6 month old kitten loves it. She eats 2.5-3 cans per day, and is gaining weight quickly--which is good, considering she came from her first home with roundworms and was underweight. I wish the food had a different texture. The description describes it as "a delicious loaf," but the loaf food always seems so unappetizing to me. I prefer feeding the shredded foods, and my kitten likes it when we cut this up for her a bit before giving it to her. Our kitty loves this food straight out of the can, but hates leftovers that have been refrigerated. If we zap leftovers in the microwave for 10 seconds, and our kitty gobbles it up. Overall I'm happy with this food, and so is our kitty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GONE in 60 SECONDS All cat owners know how difficult introducing a new food to their cats can be; try doing it with 4 cats. I've been struggling with trying to decrease the kibble and increase the wet food in their diet for months now. Although Instinct has been part of the process, I've never seen anything like I did this morning when I gave them Instinct Ultimate Protein. They dove in and didn't come up for air until it was gone. That has NEVER happened before.

The title says chicken. The description says rabbit and pork. Which one is it?

    Asked by: squeakalicious
Hi there, my name is Missy and I work with Instinct! While we do have an Ultimate Protein Rabbit can it appears as if this listing is for the Ultimate Protein Chicken. Thank you for bringing this discrepancy to our attention, we will work with our Petco team to try and get this updated!

Is this nature variety canned meal acceptable for diabetic cat? Is the ingredient cranberry OK for them?

    Asked by: Natmilsh
cranberry is actually very good for a diabetic cat. It helps to keep their urinary tract acidified, hence preventing some types of UTI (fairly common with diabetic cats). I give my diabetic cat Mannose D (extract from cranberries)
