Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent alternative to expensive prescription ca Our cat's allergies were so severe, she scratched herself raw - to the point where she had no hair and was leaving blood stains every where. We transitioned to expensive prescription food which had to be preordered thru the vets office. This product was recommended as an alternative by on line cat owners. We were out of food one day so we tried it and have been using it successfully now for 6 months. It 8s less expensive and conveniently available in pet stores. Best of all, she loves the taste. We only give her the canned duck and green pea. Our vet said to stay away from the dry food and to keep her on one flavor to reduce risk of another flair up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more diarrhea I rescued a kitty who was found thrown outside presumably by owners at 4-1/2 yrs old. She had suffered weight loss from starvation. "We" fell in love immediately and she is so affectionate and appreciative of her new home. The vomiting and diarrhea, sometimes was explosive where she couldn't make it to the box, her pooh stunk and she'd have stinky gas which went on almost 3 months. I think I know why she was outside!!! I saw the Vet several times, and spent "a lot", tried various combos of wet and dry foods, including the Vet's Science diet (expensive) and it didn't work. After massive searching on the internet I decided to try this product, mostly fed wet with some of the same product dry in her dish. I also add 1 tsp. pumpkin mash to her wet food twice a day (available in small pouches at pet store). We are now almost a month with no more diarrhea, stinky gone, seldom vomits and is happy & healthy. Please note: my kitty was B12 deficient probably from starvation so if yours had a similar experience have it checked. We gave her a B12 shot every week for one month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try can if your cat doesn't care for the dry Found stray cat with severe allergy belly all red with pus. Rec. steroid injection and no rash for 2 years. Itching returned 2 years later. Soon after steroid pills dose finished, itching returned. Vet suggested duck and pea. Cat would not eat dry but he did eat and like the canned version and normally, he will not eat canned food. He licks the can food. This food is good because it sticks to the plate so he doesn't lick the food right off the plate. Read labels carefully other duck/limited ingredient foods have chicken fat, turkey liver, chicken broth or fish oil. This brand does not have chicken or fish products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Senior kitty with coat and bowel issues I put my 18 year old on this and her coat has improved and she has normal healthy bowel movements. I’m hopeful she will have a great last part of her life due in part to this healthy tasty product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
