Rated 5 out of 5 by Spiritace from Good small pet setup This diner has worked great for my senior cat. I have no issues with any rusting. I use it a a double watering dish. So I do wipe it down when I change the water. Cat likes to splash! This is a perfect height for her. She likes to lie out & drink or splash. I'm buying a 2nd one for downstairs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by miloperhour from Cute, but scares cat I bought this when I first adopted my cat. It's very cute, simple, and worked perfectly for what I needed. It's very high quality, and I haven't noticed any rusting. However, after getting my cat a tag for his collar I ran into some issues. A few times (rarely, but still enough that it's a problem), my cat's tag will get caught between the metal when he is eating. Obviously this scares him, and it activates the break-away feature in his collar when he runs away. It also results in the food/water being spilled everywhere. He doesn't have a large tag or anything--it's just a small circle. If your cat doesn't wear tags on the collar, the bowl is great. However, for a cat with tags there is some risk of spooking! I wouldn't recommend the bowl for that reason, although I do think it would be a good fit for some people.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sflemingo from Really cute but rusts in less than a week! I purchased this because my cat likes to paw at his placemat to mimic "digging/hiding" his food so with ceramic bowls, they would always tip over and food/water would get everywhere. This stand has a nice weight so when he's lifting his placemat, it hasn't budged much and it's been much neater. I set this up 3 days ago and this morning, I noticed the black stand is already rusting and the paint chipping off! :( I may try to return now, and find something else. I'm really disappointed because I liked how cute the design was and the minimalism of the setup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Liza12 from Very cute This diner is cute, I got it for my kitten. She seems to have ease using it however she has grown a lot now and she likes to splash at times. These are very lightweight so I will need to buy her some heavier ceramic bowls instead. These get the job done and if your cat does not splash they will do just fine.
