Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product but..."to each his own" 7 rabbits have shared our family home over the years. As any buddy of these small guys knows, they eat #or try to eat# EVERYTHING. So, finding a litter that won't hurt them is important. This stuff mimics what they already eat. It won't hurt them. That said if you want a litter that: Cleans itself. Sifts itself. Doesn't have any odor. OK. When you find it let us all know. My little pal's safety is everything to me. So my only problem with this litter ? My Petsmart store no longer carries the BIG bags. If they don't resume stocking it I'll order online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to clean i use to use the care fresh in past. that was when i started noticing my poor little bunny would suffer from an eye infect, due to allergies. yes my bunny also suffers from allergies like is mommy. when i thought all hope was lost on the other brands of bedding, i found this one. after switching to eco-straw, he has not suffered from allergies again. and his eye has not drain since using this product. plus, it is very easy to change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My guinea pig love this bedding product. I love this product and so my guinea pig. We have three litter boxes filled with about one inch of the straw. My GP would go in and sit there at time just to enjoy the bedding and she would eats some pellets especially when it is fresh of the bag. We do the easy cleaning of her litter boxes about twice a day just because it is EASIEST when it is damp! If we didn't get to it and already dry, we just use plastic spoon and pick up what we can. Usually in 4-5 days we separate the still good pellets by shaking (the dust goes to the bottom). We then wash the litter box with vinegar and let dry then put the salvage pellets in first and top off with the fresh one. Our GP absolute love its natural fresh scent bedding and would go in just to sit. This a great product if you are will to work around its disadvantage. Btw, the wetting do goes to the bottom, so the top bedding stay dry, and that is one of the big advantage of this straw pellets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!!! I LOVE this product I bought it when they stopped selling my favorite bedding Eco bedding in the store so I bought this because I have had success with pelleted beddings before for my guinea pigs and rabbits. And this product worked amazingly. There was minimal smell and spot cleaning was made easy. The only con was that if you missed some spots when spot cleaning they would become dust and it made cleaning a little more dusty but overall the only wish I have is that they sell it in an even bigger bag. My 4 cages take up about 2 bags because they are giant c&c layouts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros and Cons I have pros and cons about this litter, I'm not sure if I would buy it again or not. Pros: The rabbit likes it. It doesn't smell. I forgot to change her litter box for a full week because it didn't smell at all. Even as I dumped it out, it wasn't the overwhelming urine smell there usually is with the paper pellet litter. It still just smelled (mostly) like wheat. It does soak up the urine and it doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box. Cons: The pellets fall apart when they gets wet. It doesn't clump, it just turns into powdery mush. I don't know how one would scoop it out. After just a couple days, there's no more pellets in the box, just the wheat powder mush. The wet litter turns to dust when it dries out, and the rabbit kicks it everywhere, making a big mess. Sweeping has become more difficult.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Seriously, clumping litter?! I tried all pellets, and even feline pine. My rabbit seems to like this most, maybe because of the slightly smaller size and something else. He hanged out on his big litter box as bedding. For other pellets, I put fresh ones on top about twice a day and scoop once everyday or two. This pellet clump more and more if I do that. I have the breeze litter box so liquid should drain through the grates. This pellet manage to block the grates. My rabbit go to the littler box like a facuet. The result is that my rabbit's tail clump to his solid waste. He was so uncomfortable that I thought he had diarrhea. I researched and thought he may have early symptoms of fly strike. I bath him to examine closely. It took a long bath to chisel away the harden lump by hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for my Guinea Pig... This litter smells nice, and I like that it is safe for my Guinea Pig, if he decides to ingest it, and it really does absorb moisture, and it clumps! The only thing that I don't like is that when Theodore (my Guinea Pig) pees in the same spot, the litter clumps together into a pile that smells like urine, which makes him smell like urine. I think this litter would be great for cages that have a grate, so the clumps don't make your pet smell, and would probably work well for a cat, but this litter is not for me or Theodore.
