Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extraordinary cage! I recently bought this cage for my eight month old beige male Chin, and we both absolutley love it! It was alot bigger than I previously though (but that's definitely a good thing!). There's so much room for my little man to run and play, and it's built so nice! I love how it has the bottom storage rack to put all his feed, hay, bath house, bedding, and extra toys. The big double doors make cleaning a breeze as well. I had a hard time getting the sides of the cage on, but within minutes of recruiting my dad to help we had it up and running. This cage is well worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cage for rats! Since shipping would cost me a fortune, I found a local supplier for the double unit of this cage and purchased from them. Took me about 40 minutes to set up with my dad and a hammer. I had also purchased the fleece covers for the pans, and so far I'm loving the cage! I can't find anything wrong with it. I love the ample space for my two girls to run around and climb all over, and the full-width doors are perfect for cleaning out the cage and setting it up. I love the idea of the closable ramp, it makes cleaning less of a hassle as I can keep the rats in one unit while I clean the other. All in all, this cage was well worth its price, even though it is quite an investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy I have one chinchilla, and this cage is phenomenal. Please do not do what I did and waste you money getting a cage "to start out with." Yes, this cage is expensive, but if I got it from the beginning I would have saved money. I had a simple chinchilla starter kit cage that I kept for a few months and then got a purple and green ferret cage, which I despised. After getting fed up with cleaning the purple/green cage because it was impossible to take apart, and then it got mold in a tiny crack that was impossible to clean, I threw it out and finally invested in this cage. I have NO complaints what so ever. The shelves are dipped enough so everything stays in the cage for the most part, and cleaning is a breeze since all you do is lift up the tray to remove it. The fact that you an block your pet into the upper or lower half makes cleaning even easier. The cage itself is sturdy beyond belief, looks nice, and is HUGE. I put all his toys in and it still looked barren. Since chinchillas need to stay cool, the fact that the shelves are cool to the touch is another plus. When I first saw this cage I didn't like how the ladders had the slits which is known for feet to get caught in, but they have now added felt covers, so I am left with no issue. WELL worth the price, hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantabulous I bought this for a pair of female rats! I actually managed to get one of these used for 130$ CAD which is much less than it costs to buy it in USD and ship it to my city. This is a wonderful sturdy cage. The double opening doors are awesome as it gives you good access to your pets. The shelves seem quite sturdy, as does the litter pan. It was pretty easy to put together once you understood, as I did it without instructions. The only real downsides are the cost, and that if you don't litter-box-train your pets, it has a shallow drop in pan so they'll be sure to kick litter out of it. The only bad thing to say about it: i transported it set up over a ferry, and while wheeling it off the ferry, someone accidently stepped on one of the wheels and it's break snapped right off!! The wheels are functional, but not nearly as good quality as the rest of the cage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Home for my Sugar Gliders I ordered this cage on a Friday and got it on a Tuesday. It is HUGE! Assembly was really simple! My husband and I put it together in about 30 minutes. Although it says no tools required, I did need a rubber mallet as some of the pieces were kinda tight. The only things I don't like about this cage is the legs on the bottom shelf could use some more bracing because the legs want to lean in or out, and that the trays that hold the bedding leave a lot to be desired. The sides are so short that the bedding (corn cob type) goes everywhere! Make sure you have a good vaccume cleaner! Other than that this cage is well worth the money it costs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible!!! Very Safe! Great Value! Before I purchased this cage I read all the reviews & found the main complaint to be some parts are hard to put together, but everyone loved it once assembled. Well besides most wish for bigger sides on the trays. So I expected a struggle, and was glad for the hammer & towel hint, but only had to do it twice. My best advice would be to jiggle and align the parts below, cause it is built from the ground up. When a fit was not going to work, that helped. Maybe I just got lucky, but I did expect it to be way harder from what I read on the reviews. The instructions could be more descriptive, and perhaps the parts labeled...but over all I was very surprised how easy it was to assemble... I read reviews of all the cages, especially for saftey & cleaning. Nothing compared at all. Most end up in some story of sharp edges:( You could get a a cheaper cage, but I couldn't see saving a few dollars for less. Cause even the other companies "large sized" ones seem very substandard and cost way tooo much for a piece of "junk". From my searches the best deal I found was Petmart. It is very heavy & I feel I got the lowest price on the cage, plus shipping for 5.99... When my pets are gone, I feel it is sturdy enough to pass on to a wild life rescue...I am very pleased....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cage I've used for my parrots Yes you read that right, I use these cages for Parakeets, Lovebirds,Cockatiels, Quakers, Ringneck Doves and the Ferret Nation version i use for Conures They are BETTER than PARROT CAGES! I love how the doors open wide no more struggling to get perches in, toys or anything else cleaning is easier than most parrot cages I do have trouble in the winter since I can't take them out side to hose off but I do what i can with a bucket of water and a scrub brush during the winter I don't think I will ever go back to traditional Parrot cages (i still have a couple for my pet Quakers in my living room) When ever some one asks about cages when they're looking for new ones I always tell them when they have similar sized birds as I do Go with the critter nation - no its not a traditional parrot cage its 100x's better I even have one in my sons room for his 2 Ringneck Doves that's the only Single stack I have the rest are Double stacks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cage I bought this cage for my ferret about two months ago and immediately knew I'd never buy another cage again. The cage is very solid, super easy to clean, and offers plenty of space for toys, beds, litter boxes (2), and of course my ferret. Putting the cage together was very easy once I realized I should NOT use the instructions. Parts were mislabeled and the wording was confusing (maybe I got an old booklet). Just look at the picture on the box and it's obvious how to put it together. I did need a hammer to put one of the pieces together. I'm very impressed with the cage, and plan to upgrade to the double unit when I get another ferret. As a side note, the ladder / ramp that comes with the cage wasn't ideal for my ferret (she's kinda clumsy). She had a difficult time walking down. Wrapping it in a sock / sweatpants didn't help, so I removed it and built an L-shaped staircase out of wood and she has no problem going to either level now.
