He is a juvenile and like most juveniles, can have his grumpy days. It took him a while to get used to me but I kept holding him every night before I went to bed for about 5-10 minutes. He would curl up whenever I tried to grab him but now he can't wait to wrap around my arm! I hold him whenever I'm doing homework, cleaning his tank, or even when I'm doing dishes! He just chills on my neck and shoulders. No regrets with my baby boy and I definitely recommend as your first snake! Only thing is that you need to be patient at first, he will eventually start warming up to you and love you just like you love him! :)</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2017-09-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2017-09-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="119334342"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Juvenile Fancy Ball Python" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Ivysaur</span> from <span itemprop="name">Fantastic pet!</span> <span itemprop="description">I got my wonderful guy a little over a month ago. I have always loved reptiles, dinosaurs, dragons, etc unlike other girls my age who liked ponies and princesses. Over the summer, I wanted a dog. My mom said no, and I resorted to a species I found out about called the crested gecko. After months of researching, I got one! This is my 4th month having him. Two weeks ago, on Friday, after months of convincing, my mom said she&rsquo;d allow me to have a ball python. I was so happy that I cried in the store. A week later, I gathered all my supplies and set up a tank. The ball pythons at the store I went to (the one in Cali with the Michael&rsquo;s and Starbucks) were in amazing hands. The staff genuinely cared about these animals and were knowledgeable in their husbandry. My fancy ball python was on sale for 60 dollars! The staff handled her frequently and they even &ldquo;bonded&rdquo; with her and needed time to say goodbye. She had some shed on her head, when i got home, she wasn&rsquo;t head shy at all. She periscopes all the time and wraps around in my hair. She is a chubby girl, 30 inches long, which I am happy about because i LOVE big snakes. This is a long review but I am so happy with my girl. Im not sure what morph she is but nevertheless, she&rsquo;s adorable and I wouldn&rsquo;t give her up for the world.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2017-12-20</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2017-12-20" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="101533272"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Juvenile Fancy Ball Python" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">MrsOwens</span> from <span itemprop="name">Excellent snake choice!</span> <span itemprop="description">We got our fancy python recently. Petsmart feeds frozen but Jordan switched to live with the first feeding. My daughter does not feed her I do and we make sure to feed outside of the habitat. We have four ball pythons of different age and size but Jordan is the only one we have bought from a Petsmart store.. We also bought a Bearded Dragon from Petsmart and she is awesome as well..
