    How is Medication Given?

  • For heifers, administer every 3 months and be sure to administer 4 weeks prior to breeding.
  • For calves, administer at birth, then at an age of 3 months and/or at weaning.
  • For dairy cows, administer 4 weeks prior to calving, 4 weeks prior to insemination, and 4 weeks prior to dry-off.
  • For beef cows, administer 4 weeks prior to breeding and 4 weeks prior to calving.
  • For bulls, administer 3 times each year.
  • In wet conditions, administer every 2 months.
  • Administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously.

    Dosage rate recommendations:

  • For calves under 1 year old, administer a dose of 1 mL for every 100 pounds of body weight.
  • For cattle between 1 and 2 years old, administer 1 mL for every 150 pounds of body weight.
  • For cattle over 2 years old, administer 1 mL for every 200 pounds of body weight.

    What Results Can I Expect? Multinmin 90 provides supplemental Zinc, Manganese, Selenium, and copper for use in cattle.

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Injectable

    Dose and Administration: Sold in a vial containing 100 or 500 mL.

    Possible Side Effects: Never use in a pregnant animal, as abortion may result. At 50 or 100 times the recommended dosage rate, a minor reaction could occur in some cattle. These reactions include uneasiness, minor frothing, or milk letdown.

    Precautions:

  • Keep away from children and animals.
  • Use standard aseptic technique to administer this or any other injection.

    Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry place between 15 degrees C and 30 degrees C (59 degrees F and 86 degrees F).
