    DESCRIPTION:

    Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution is an antibiotic formula used to treat susceptible bacterial eye infections.

    Key Benefits: This solution is a sterile, uniquely-formulated antibiotic that topically and effectively treats external eye (ophthalmic) infections.

    Formulated For: Intended for horses, cats and dogs only.

    How is Medication Given?

  • To treat a severe infection, instill 2 drops every hour into the affected eye(s) until the condition has improved.
  • For mild to moderate disease, instill 1 to 2 drops every 4 hours into the affected eye(s).
  • Before discontinuing treatment, gradually reduce the frequency of treatment.

    What Results Can I Expect? Tobramycin works to treat many common types of eye infection, and to ease the discomfort associated with those infections.

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Liquid

    Dose and Administration: Sold in a dropper bottle containing 5 mL.

    Possible Side Effects: Potential adverse reactions include:

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Localized Ocular Toxicity
  • Itchy Eyelids
  • Swollen Eyelids
  • Conjunctival Erythema

    Precautions: Never administer to an animal who has previously demonstrated hypersensitivity to this product or any ingredient therein.

    Storage Recommendations: Keep product at temperatures between 36 degrees – 77 degrees F (2 degrees - 25 degrees C)

    In Case of Overdose: Contact the nearest emergency pet clinic immediately.
