    DESCRIPTION:

    Sulfasalazine is used to treat mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. It is also administered as an adjunct treatment for severe ulcerative colitis. Finally, it is useful in treating Crohn's disease treatment-related rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis.
