    DESCRIPTION:

    ReBalance Antiprotozoal Oral Suspension contains Sulfadiazine and Pyrimethamine, which work together to treat Sarcocystis neurona-related equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) in horses.

    How is Medication Given?

  • Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product.
  • Administer at a dosage rate of 1 mg of Pyrimethamine and 20 mg of Sulfadiazine per kg of body weight daily, or 4 mL of suspension for every 110 pounds of body weight.
  • Treatment duration should be based on the individual clinical response.
  • Typical treatment regimens last for 90 to 270 days.
  • To administer, use an oral dosing syringe. Dose at least 1 hour before grain or hay feeding by inserting the syringe nozzle through the horse's interdental space, then depressing the plunger to deposit on the back of the tongue.
  • Shake thoroughly prior to use.
