What Results Can I Expect? Tylan is antibacterial against a number of gram-positive bacteria, certain gram-negative bacteria (aside from coliforms), some spirochetes, large viruses, and certain Mycoplasma species.

Possible Side Effects: Some hogs may experience side effects like: Diarrhea; Erythema; Itching (Pruritus); Edema of the Rectal Mucosa; Anal Protrusion. Withdrawing treatment typically resolves and reverses these effects.
Precautions Not for use in humans, horses, or egg-producing layers. Wait at least 24 hours before slaughtering chickens for food after treatment, and 5 days before slaughtering turkeys for food use. Do not use concomitantly with other antibiotics, including Lincomycin, Chloramphenicol, or Clindamycin. Overdose of baby pigs can lead to death or shock. Do not allow human skin contact. Keep away from children and animals.
