What Results Can I Expect? PROIN ER works by increasing urethral sphincter muscle tone to help prevent urinary leakage. Proin contains the active ingredient phenylpropanolamine, an adrenergic agent that works by tightening the urethral sphincter muscle.
What Form Does Medication Come In? 30 Tablet or 90 Tablet Bottle in the following strengths : 18 mg (for dogs 10-20 lbs), 38 mg (for dogs 21-40 lbs), 74 mg (for dogs 41-80 lbs), 145 mg (for dogs 81-125 lbs).
