    DESCRIPTION

    K-BroVet Potassium Bromide Oral Solution is a prescription medication that uses Potassium Bromide to help manage epileptic seizure conditions in dogs. The butterscotch vanilla-flavored oral solution is easy to administered. It is a prescription medication that is not FDA-approved.

    How is Medication Given?

  • For a serum level around 1 mg per mL, orally administer a loading dose of 120 mg for every kg of body weight daily for a 5-day period. Thereafter, reduce to a dose of 30 mg per kg daily.
  • For a serum level around 1.5 mg per mL, orally administer a loading dose of 160 mg for every kg of body weight daily for a 5-day period. Thereafter, reduce to a dose of 40 mg per kg daily.
  • Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product.

    Precautions:
