Tri-Heart Plus Chewable Tablets are used to treat and control ascarids/roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, and Ancylostoma braziliense) and prevent heartworm disease in dogs associated with Dirofilaria immitis.

    Possible Side Effects: The most common side effects include:

  • Lethargy

  • In rare cases, digestive or neurological effects have been reported.

    Precautions

  • Heartworm testing is recommended prior to use.
  • This product does not kill adult heartworms. Therefore, dogs with an existing heartworm infection should receive treatment to remove heartworm microfilariae and adult worms before Tri-Heart treatment.
  • In case of ingestion by a human, pursue emergency medical treatment.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
