DESCRIPTION

Interceptor Plus is a broad-spectrum, chewable parasiticide for use in dogs. It prevents heartworm disease, prevents tapeworm infections, and controls and treats adult tapeworm, whipworm, hookworm, and roundworm infections in puppies and adult dogs.

    How is Medication Given? Dosage Recommendations (1 Tablet Per Month):

  • 2 to 8 Pounds: Orange
  • 8.1 to 25 Pounds: Green
  • 25.1 to 50 Pounds: Yellow
  • 50.1 to 100 Pounds: Blue
  • Greater Than 100 Pounds: Discuss proper dosing with your dog's veterinarian. Orally administer a minimum dose of 2.28 mg of Praziquantel per pound of body weight and 0.23 mg of Milbemycin Oxime per pound. To protect your dog against heartworm disease, administer 1 tablet monthly for a minimum of 6 months following the last mosquito exposure.
