What Results Can I Expect? Trifexis is a chewable, beef-flavored tablet that dogs find incredibly tasty. It is the most frequently-prescribed combination parasite treatment and preventative medication. Kills immature heartworms and prevents heartworm disease. Controls and treats whipworms, hookworms, and roundworms. Kills biting fleas within just 30 minutes of use, and kills adult fleas before they have a chance to lay their eggs.

Dose and Administration: Sold as a 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month supply in five different weight-based strengths.
Possible Side Effects: The most common side effects reported in clinical trials were: Skin Itch (Pruritus), Lethargy, Diarrhea, Vomiting. If your dog vomits within 1 hour of dosing, another dose may be administered. Puppies under 14 weeks old might vomit at a higher rate than older puppies and dogs.
Precautions Not proven safe for use in breeding female dogs. Administer cautiously to epileptic dogs. Prior to use, dogs should have a negative heartworm test.
