How isMedication Given?
Read the entire product insert for full information before use. For the control and prevention of fleas, administer once per month. This medication uses Lufenuron to prevent flea egg development, but it has no effect on adult fleas.If your dog has an existing infestation, you may administer Capstar concomitantly to provide immediate relief. (Capstar begins killing fleas within just 30 minutes.) Every pet in the home should be treated to prevent re-infestation. Ask your veterinarian for an administration schedule for Capstar and Sentinel Spectrum. Your dog's dosage rate will depend upon his or her body weight, and this product should not be used in dogs weighing less than 2 pounds. Most (97%) dogs willingly take these delicious chews when offered by hand. If your dog is particularly finicky and won't accept the chew by hand, dose as a tablet or combine with a small amount of food.

Precautions
Heartworm testing is important prior to treatment initiation, because infected dogs can experience a transient shock-like condition. If your dog has heartworm disease, proper treatment should be completed prior to Sentinel Spectrum use. Not proven safe for use in pregnant dogs, nursing dogs, or puppies under the age of 11 weeks.
Storage Recommendations: When storing, keep temperature below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F).
