About this item
DESCRIPTION:

Sentinel is a convenient, flavored, chewable tablet that removes adult whipworm and roundworm infections, controls adult hookworms, prevents and controls fleas, and prevents heartworm disease.

Key Benefits: This product contains:

  • LUFENURON - This IGR (insect growth regulating) ingredient controls fleas by inhibiting their development. It has no effect on adult fleas, which means that an adulticide might be needed for adequate control of adult flea infestations.
  • MILBEMYCIN OXIME - This macrocyclic anthelmintic works to eliminate Ancylostoma caninum (hookworms), Trichuris vulpis (whipworms), Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina (roundworms), and eliminate the tissue stage of heartworm larvae. It interferes with the neurotransmission of invertebrates (worms).

Formulated For: For dogs and puppies aged 4 weeks or older.

    How is Medication Given?

  • Sentinel Spectrum controls and prevents fleas when administered monthly.
  • It uses Lufenuron to prevent flea egg development, but it has no effect on adult fleas.
  • Every pet in the home should be treated with an appropriate product if an infestation occurs.
  • Dogs should be weighed to ensure accurate dosing
  • Not for use in dogs weighing less than 2 pounds.
  • Read the full product insert before use.
  • Typically (97% of the time), dogs will readily accept these chews when hand-fed. If your dog is picky, you may place it in their mouth or combine it with a small amount of food.
