Possible Side Effects: Topical administration in cats can cause: Application site reactions, Skin reactions, Vomiting, Lethargy, Agitation, Neurological effects. Topical administration in dogs can cause: Vomiting, Diarrhea (sometimes bloody), Salivation, Decreased appetite, Lethargy, Weakness, Restlessness, Agitation, Disorientation, Ataxia (coordination impairment), Muscle tremors, Seizures, Panting, Labored breathing, Acute pulmonary edema, Hives, Rash, Facial swelling, Ear swelling, Itching (Pruritus), Red skin (Erythema), Alopecia, Hotspots, Localized discomfort, Application site hair discoloration. Accidental ingestion in dogs can cause: Salivation, Vomiting, Muscle tremors, Seizures, Mydriasis (pupil dilation), Ataxia (coordination impairment), Lethargy, Disorientation, Agitation, Decreased appetite
Precautions Separate dogs for 30 minutes after treatment to prevent dogs from licking their own application site or that of any other treated dog. Ingestion can lead to severe side effects, including depression, salivation, pupil dilation, incoordination, panting, or generalized muscle tremors. Ivermectin-sensitive dogs could experience more severe side effects, including coma and/or death.
Storage Recommendations: Avoid extreme temperatures and store between 39 degrees F (4 degrees C) and 77 degrees F (25 degrees C)
