    DESCRIPTION:

    Gentamicin Ophthalmic Solution 0.3% is used to treat susceptible bacterial eye infections, including pink eye (conjunctivitis), corneal inflammation (keratitis), keratoconjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, eyelid inflammation (blepharitis), blepharoconjunctivitis, acute meibomianitis, and dacryocystitis.

    How is Medication Given?

  • Thoroughly wash hands prior to use.
  • Gently shake the bottle for proper medication mixing.
  • Do not touch the opening of the dropper to any surface, including eyes or hands. This can cause contamination and subsequent eye infections.
  • If the drops are discolored or contain particles, do not administer.
  • Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product.

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Liquid

    Dose and Administration: Each dropper bottle contains 5 mL of suspension.

    Possible Side Effects: Severe side effects are unlikely. Potential reactions include:

  • Eye burning
  • Eye stinging
  • Eye irritation
  • Eye redness
  • Blurry vision
  • Itchy eyes or eyelids
  • Swollen eyelids
  • Sensitivity to light
