METACAM Oral Suspension contains Meloxicam, an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) prescribed by veterinarians to control the inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis. Formulated for dogs over the age of 6 months, this medication helps with symptoms like decreased joint movement, stiffness, reluctance to climb stairs or run, lameness, or limping. Osteoarthritis has a negative impact on your dog's quality of life because of the pain it causes. This condition results from cartilage and joint wear and tear. This liquid formula is easy to dose with the provided syringe, and it can be easily administered in the dog' usual food. Talk to your veterinarian to decide if this medication is the best way to help your dog manage their pain and return to their happy, pain-free former selves.
Key Benefits: Metacam reduces hormones within the canine body that can cause age-related, arthritis-related pain and inflammation.
