    Dose and Administration: Each bottle contains 30 tablets in four weight-based strengths (8, 16, 32, or 64 mg).

    Possible Side Effects: Potential side effects include:

  • Lethargy
  • Decreased appetite
  • Tremors
  • Restlessness
  • Depression
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Seizures (which may occur in dogs with or without a history of epilepsy or seizures)

    Precautions:

  • Do not use concomitantly with MAOIs, including selegiline hydrochloride (L-deprenyl) or amitraz, or within 2 weeks of MAOI treatment.
  • A 6-week washout period should be observed after discontinuing treatment prior to using any medications that can react negatively with fluoxetine or norfluoxetine.
  • Keep away from children and animals.
  • Not for human use.
  • Do not administer to dogs with epilepsy or a history of seizures.
  • Do not administer concomitantly with medications that lower the seizure threshold, such as phenothiazines, acepromazine, or chlorpromazine.
  • Do not administer to dogs who are hypersensitive to fluoxetine HCI or any other SSRI.
  • Do not use to treat aggression.

    Storage Recommendations: Keep product at room temperature between 20 degrees to 25 degrees C (68 degrees to 77 degrees F). Brief excursions of 59 degrees- 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) are permitted. Do not remove desiccant canister from bottle, keep bottle closed when not in use.
