How is Medication Given?
If you accidentally miss giving a dose, administer it as soon as you remember. If the next regularly scheduled dose is due soon, resume the regular schedule and skip the dose you missed. Never administer two doses simultaneously. For best results, administer at the same time each day. May be administered with or without food. Administer for the full duration recommended by your pet's veterinarian, and be sure to refill the prescription consistently. Administer exactly as prescribed and exactly as directed. Follow and read the product label with care. Missing a dose reduces the efficacy of treatment. Typical recommended dosage frequency is 2 to 3 times each day.

High Fever (Rare) Excitability Skin Rash Rapid Breathing Drooling Diarrhea Vomiting Inappetence Renal Excretion (only in animals treated concomitantly with Probenecid) Gastrointestinal effects are usually reduced by administering with food. Tell your vet about any other unusual or bothersome effects.
Precautions:
Never administer to a pet with a history of allergic reaction to antibiotics, other cephalosporins, or penicillin. Use caution in administering to a pregnant animal, to an animal with a history of seizures, or to an animal with kidney failure. Keep out of reach of animals and children.
