DESCRIPTION:

Furosemide is often used to treat heart failure and lung fluid (pulmonary edema). it can also be used to treat certain electrolyte imbalance conditions, such as high calcium or potassium levels.

  • Increased urination
  • Increased levels of blood sugar (uncommon, but indicates that a different diuretic may be a better option)
  • Hearing loss (particularly in cats administered large doses in emergency situations)

    Precautions: Keep away from children. Only for animal use. Federal law mandates that this product should only be used by a veterinarian or on the order of a licensed vet.

    Storage Recommendations: Do not freeze. Store in a cool and dry location (59- 86 degrees F)
