    How is Medication Given? 1) Expose the plunger by removing the large cap (white). 2) Expose the needle by pulling straight on the small cap (red). Take care not to bend the needle. 3) Measure the appropriate dosage by aligning the top edge of the plunger tip with the correct dosage on the syringe. 4) Only use each syringe one time. Avoid misuse by disposing of the syringe in an approved sharps canister. For environmentally safe, proper disposal, consult local authorities.
