• Enalapril is an angiotensin–converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used to help treat congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and proteinuria in dogs and cats.


• FDA–approved for use in dogs with congestive heart failure (CHF).


• Can also be used to help treat CHF in cats and other small animals, as well as high blood pressure, some forms of kidney disease, and to reduce proteinuria (protein in the urine).
