How is Medication Given?
Do not apply on broken skin. Do not massage into skin. Wait 24 hours before shampooing or bathing your pet. Do not apply on a wet coat. Discard empty tube properly (in your usual householdrefuse). Do not allow contact with human skin. Follow your veterinarian's directions when using this product. Hair discoloration, stiffness, residue, or clumping could occur at the application site. None of these symptoms are cause for concern. They are common occurrences that disappear on their own.
DOSAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Cats 5 Pounds or Less: 0.25 mL Tube Containing 15 mg of Selamectin (Mauve Label) Cats 5.1-15 Pounds: 0.75 mL Tube Containing 45 mg of Selamectin (Blue Label) Cats 15.1-22 Pounds: 1 mL Tube Containing 60 mg of Selamectin (Taupe Label)
DIRECTIONS:
1) Hold applicator tube in an upright position. You should be able to see the lot number and expiration date, which are printed on the bottom. 2) Bend back the applicator tip to snap off. 3) Part the cat's hair along the back. Apply in front of the shoulder blades at the base of the cat's neck. The skin should be accessible and visible. 4) Put the tip of the applicator against your cat's skin and squeeze 3 to 4 times. This should dispense the full contents. 5) Keep the tube squeezed and drag the tube away, lifting as you remove it from your cat's skin. 6) Verify that the applicator tube is empty.

Precautions:
Hypersensitivity reactions were not reported in cats who had patent heartworm infections and were administered triple the recommended Selamectin dosage rate. Higher doses were not studied. Circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, but this medication is not intended for microfilariae clearance. Not effective for eliminating adult-stage D. immitis. This medication is known to be flammable, and it should always be kept away from heat, sparks, open flames, and sources of ignition. Human reactions mayinclude hives, itching, and skin redness. Not for human use. Keep away from children and animals. Not for use in cats under the age of 8 weeks. Cats should be tested for heartworms before taking this medication. Existing infections should be treated prior to use of this product. Never administer to a sick, debilitated, or underweight pet. This product may irritate human skin or eyes. Wash your hands well after handling.
Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool and dry environment between temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F).
