Revolution Plus Topical Solution for Cats should be applied topically year–round at monthly intervals, or as otherwise directed by your veterinarian. Manufacturer Dosage and Administration: The recommended minimum dosage is 2.7 mg selamectin per pound (6 mg⁄kg) of body weight and 0.45 mg sarolaner per pound (1 mg⁄kg) of body weight. Administer the entire contents of a single tube (or two tubes in combination for cats weighing over 22 pounds) of Revolution Plus topically in accordance with the labeled product weight ranges. A veterinarian or veterinary technician should demonstrate or instruct the pet owner regarding the appropriate technique for applying Revolution Plus topically to cats and kittens prior to first use. Revolution Plus requires no gloves. Apply in just 3 simple steps: Step 1: Press cap until you hear a ââ¬ÅCLICKââ¬Â. Hold tube upright and press the cap to puncture the seal. Remove cap and make sure tip is open. Step 2: Part neck hair and squeeze tube. Part the fur at the base of your cat's neck and touch tube tip to visible skin. Squeeze tube 3 or 4 times in one spot until empty. Step 3: Glide tube, lift, and discard. Keeping the tube squeezed, glide it along the skin and away from the liquid, then lift off. Ensure the tube is empty before throwing it out. Do not massage the product into the skin. Due to alcohol content, do not apply to broken skin. Avoid contact between the product and fingers. Do not apply when the hair coat is wet. Stiff hair, clumping of hair, hair discoloration, or a slight powdery residue may be observed at the treatment site in some cats. These effects are temporary and do not affect the safety or effectiveness of the product. Discard empty tubes in your ordinary household trash.

Revolution Plus may be irritating to the skin and eyes in humans. Do not come into contact with or allow children to contact the application site until 4 hours post–application. Wash hands after use and wash off any product in contact with the skin immediately with soap and water. If contact with eyes occurs, flush eyes copiously with water for 5 ââ¬â 10 minutes, then seek medical attention. In case of ingestion by a human, contact a physician immediately. This product is flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition. Sarolaner, one of the ingredients in Revolution Plus, is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. The safe use of Revolution Plus has not been evaluated in kittens less than 8 weeks of age. The safe use of Revolution Plus has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats. Discuss the risks of using this medication with your veterinarian if your pet is in one of these groups. Do not administer to animals with a known history or suspected allergy⁄hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.
Drug & Food Interactions: There are no documented drug or food interactions with Revolution Plus. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications and supplements that your pet is currently receiving. Your veterinarian may prescribe multiple medications, even if a potential drug interaction may occur. In these instances, your veterinarian may adjust the dosages or monitor your pet more closely.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature (at or below 86°F). Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Tubes should remain sealed in their original packaging and should only be opened at the time of dosing. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.
