About this item
DESCRIPTION:

Advantage Multi for Cats is a topical monthly solution that works to prevent heartworm disease, kill adult fleas, treat flea infestations, treat and control ear mites, and control and treat hookworms and roundworms.

Key Benefits:

  • Advantage Multi for Cats contains Imidacloprid and Moxidectin, an insecticide and a topical endectocide that team up to deliver a full month of treatment and control of fleas, heartworms, hookworms, and roundworms.
  • It also controls ear mites.

Formulated For: For cats and kittens aged 9 weeks or older and 2lbs or more.

How is Medication Given? 1) Take an applicator tube out of its package. Deliver the full contents of the tube. 2) Hold the tube upright and take the cap off of the tube. 3) Flip the cap and push the cap end into the tube tip to puncture. 4) Twist the cap, breaking the seal. Remove the cap. 5) Part your cat's hair on his or her neck (at the base of his or her head). The skin should be visible. Place the tube tip against the skin, dispensing the full contents onto the skin. Remove the tube, then release pressure on the tube. Cats may experience oily, damp, matted, or stiff hair at the application site. This is a normal and short-term effect that has no bearing on the efficacy or safety of this product. Never allow the cat to lick the site of application for 30 minutes, and never get the product into the cat's eyes or mouth. When treated in the proper place at the base of the cat's head, the chances of ingestion should be reduced. If your household has many pets, separate the animals to avoid application site licking. Never apply on irritated skin. Minimum topical dosage recommendation is 0.45 mg per pound of body weight of Moxidectin and 4.5 mg per pound of body weight of Imidacloprid.

What Results Can I Expect? Advantage Multi for Cats is a once-monthly, broad-spectrum medication that prevents heartworm disease, treats and controls flea infestations, treats and controls hookworms and roundworms, treats and controls ear mites, and treats FAD (flea allergy dermatitis).
