DESCRIPTION:

PanaKare Plus Tablets deliver porcine pancreatic enzymes in a concentrated formula. They are intended to be administered before meals in a dose that meets the animal's individual needs, based on weight and the severity of the condition.

Key Benefits:

  • Dogs and cats with pancreatic insufficiency usually have sub-normal serum concentrations of fat-soluble Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin E. In these animals, the levels might not increase solely in response to treatment with enzymes.
  • While there is not an established recommended dose, oral fat-soluble vitamin supplementation is commonly accepted and recommended.

    Formulated For: Intended for cats and dogs.

    How is Medication Given?

  • For cats, administer 1/2 to 1 tablet prior to every meal.
  • For dogs, administer 2 to 3 tablets prior to every meal.

    What Results Can I Expect? PanaKare Plus is a digestive aid that works as a replacement therapy tool in cases where the animal inadequately digests fat, carbohydrates, and proteins as a result of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

    What Form Does Medication Come In? Tablet

    Dose and Administration: Sold in 100-count or 500-count bottles.

    Possible Side Effects: Oral or tongue ulcers can result when administered at a high dose. Typically, ulcers dissipate with a reduced dose or when diluted slightly with water.

    Precautions:

  • Discontinue treatment if the animal shows sensitivity symptoms.
  • May irritate the oral mucosa.

    Storage Recommendations: Keep product in a cool and dry place not exceeding 95 degrees F (35 degrees C).
