Description: Clavamox® is a broad–spectrum antibiotic for treatment of bacterial infections now available in a highly palatable pork–liver–flavored chewable. Clavamox® combines amoxicillin, a synthetic penicillin–type antibiotic, with clavulanate potassium, a beta–lactamase inhibitor to protect the antibiotic from certain enzymes that may destroy the amoxicillin.
